Ekaterina Lozgacheva

Born on 23 March 1984 in Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod (former Gorkiy) Region.

Education

2007: received a master’s degree in economics from the Higher School of Economics, majoring in macroeconomics and macroeconomic policy.

Career

2006–2011: assistant at the research laboratory for macroeconomic analysis, macroeconomic analysis teacher at the Higher School of Economics.

2011–2013: 1st Category Economist, Lead Economist in the Market Operations Department of the Bank of Russia.

2015–2020: Chief Economist, Economic Adviser, Head of Division in the Monetary Policy Department of the Bank of Russia.

2020–2021: Deputy Head of the Service for Consumer Protection and Financial Inclusion of the Bank of Russia.

2021–2023: Deputy Director of the Financial Market Strategy Department of the Bank of Russia.

Since 16 November 2023: Director of the Financial Market Strategy Department of the Bank of Russia.
