Alexander Kashturov

Born on 4 November 1976 in Moscow.

Education

1998: graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Law.

He received a bachelor’s degree from the Higher School of Economics in 1997 and a master’s degree in 1999.

Career

1998–2001: 1st Category Economist, Chief Economist at the Foreign Exchange Regulation and Control Department of the Bank of Russia.

2001–2003: Head of the Correspondent Relations and Risk Management Section of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Department of the Bank of Russia.

2003–2011: Head of the Risk Control Division of the Market Operations Department of the Bank of Russia.

Since 2011: Director of the Market Operations Department of the Bank of Russia.
