Andrey Medvedev

Born on 19 March 1978 in Efremov, Tula Region.

Education

2000: graduated from the Military University of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation with a degree in jurisprudence.

2006: graduated from the Budget and Treasury Academy of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation with a degree in finance and credit.

Career

2000–2003: military service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation at the position of assistant to a military unit commander for legal issues.

2003–2008: legal practice.

2008–2013: worked in the Federal Financial Markets Service (FFMS) at various positions, including the Head of the Legal Department of the FFMS.

Since 2013: held various positions at the Legal Department of the Bank of Russia.

Since January 2023: Director of the Legal Department of the Bank of Russia.
