Obverse

in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed bу а circle of dots and inscriptions, above - the denomination: "ДЕСЯТЬ ТЫСЯЧ РУБЛЕЙ" (TEN THOUSAND RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal, its fineness and the mint trade mark, in the centre – the уеаr of issue "2006 г." (2006), to the right - the fine metal content and the ordinal number sign of the coin №___.

Reverse

to the left – a scroll with the Supreme Manifest of the Russian Emperor Nicholas II, higher – proletarians on barricades, to the right – the sessions hall of the Tavrichesky Palace in St. Petersburg. The inscription along the rim – "100-ЛЕТИЕ ПАРЛАМЕНТАРИЗМА В РОССИИ" (THE CENTENARY OF PARLIAMENTARIANISM IN RUSSIA).

The Manifest of October 17, 1905 "On Improving the State Practice", signed by Nicholas II in a moment of the highest activity of the all Russian October political strike, proclaimed civil freedoms of speech, conscience, assembly and association as well as creating the legislative State Duma (Russian Parliament) representing the hole population. The opening of sessions of the first State Duma was held on April 27, 1906.
