(2010), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
Reverse
To the left - the portrait of N.I. Pirogov, under it - semicircular inscription: "Н.И. ПИРОГОВ" (N.I. PIROGOV), to the right - a sick-nurse and a wounded man in the tent of a field hospital, lower - dates in two lines: "1810" "1881".

Nikolay Ivanovich Pirogov (1810-1881) - surgeon, anatomist, founder of the field surgery, corresponding member of the Saint Petersburg Academy of Sciences (1846), participated in the Sevastopol Defense (1854-55), French-Prussian (1870-71) and Russian-Turk (1877-78) wars. Pirogov's Atlas "Topographical Anatomy" gained the world-wide reputation.
