The front of the banknote depicts the bridge across the Yenisey river and a chapel in Krasnoyarsk.
On the back of the banknote there is the Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric station dam.
The predominant colours of the banknote are dark-green and dark-brown.
The banknote possesses several machine-readable security features.
On the front of the note there are two serial numbers that consist of two letters indicating the series followed by seven digits.

Multitone watermark
The paper has local
watermarks on the left and right coupon fields. In the wide coupon field there
is a chapel in the city of Krasnoyarsk and in the narrow coupon field there is a
numeric value of the denomination (value numeral 10). When the banknote is held
up to the light you can see various parts of the watermarks, some of which are
lighter while others are darker than the surrounding paper.
Security thread
The paper contains a
vertical narrow polymer security thread 1 mm in width. It becomes visible when
the banknote is held up to the light. The thread bears a recurrent, direct and
reverse inscription „ЦБР 10”, printed in black.
See-through (printing in) register
The note is printed
with great accuracy so that irregular elements of the design on both sides of
the banknote join up to form a complete picture when the banknote is viewed
against
the light.

The paper has local
watermarks on the left and right coupon fields. In the wide coupon field there

Security features checked by tilting a banknote
Metallic ink
It is ink with a
metallic silvery sheen. The characteristic metallic luster of the ink used in
this part of the banknote cannot be reproduced by рhotocopying.
Latent image of the letters „РР”
(kipp-effect)
When a
banknote is viewed at an acute angle, letters „РР” become visible on the decorative
stripe. The letters become either light on a dark background or dark on a light
background depending on the orientation of the banknote.
