Coins for exchange: Coin Week starts

Now, individuals can exchange coins for banknotes not only at banks, but also at chain stores and deposit coins in a bank account at a bank office.

Around 4,000 offices of 159 banks and over 3,500 stores will take part in the event. For details on the terms and addresses of the participants, please visit the website монетнаянеделя.рф.

During the spring event which was held between 20 May 2024 and 2 June 2024, Russian residents brought over 31 million coins to banks. In total, people put ₽135 million back into circulation.
