Obverse

in the centre the denomination of the coin ‘10 РУБЛЕЙ’ (10 RUBLES), inside the figure ‘0’ hidden pictures of the number ‘10’ and the inscription ‘РУБ’ (RUB), visible alternately when changing the angle of vision, on the left and on the right stylised images of laurel and oak branches respectively, along the rim at the top the inscription ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), at the bottom the year of issue ‘2023’, to its right the mint trade mark.

Reverse

a relief image of a fragment of the monument Memorial Museum of Military and Labour Glory of Kusnetsk Metallurgists in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945; and the inscriptions on the outer ring ‘НОВОКУЗНЕЦК’ (NOVOKUZNETSK) at the top and ‘ГОРОДА ТРУДОВОЙ ДОБЛЕСТИ’ (CITIES OF LABOUR VALOUR) at the bottom along the ribbon.

Novokuznetsk was awarded the honorary title City of Labour Valour for the great contribution of its residents to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945, uninterrupted manufacture of military and civilian products at industrial enterprises and people’s labour heroism and commitment.

The contribution of Kuznetsk war workers to the Great Victory cannot be overemphasised. Within a short period, Kuznetsk metallurgists mastered the technology for manufacturing armour steel and rolled steel. They continuously supplied tank armour, aluminium, rails, coal and coke to various enterprises of the country that were also working hard to fight the enemy.
