in the center of the disc the image of the coat of arms of the Irkutsk region, the inscriptions along the rim divided by two dots: above – "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (RUSSIAN FEDERATION), below – "ИРКУТСКАЯ ОБЛАСТЬ" (IRKUTSK REGION).
