The Savior's Transfiguration Cathedral, built in 1841 on top of Red Hill in Bolkhov is the striking example of Russian architectural style, which ancestor was architect K.A. Ton. The ensemble of the cathedral contains the fore-tired bell tower with the tall figured steeple built in the 1830th in the late classicism style.
