The Tula Kremlin (XVIth century)
Obverse
in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2009 г." (2009), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
Reverse
In a frame of the patterned matted field - the image of architectural panorama of the Tula Kremlin, to the right below - the date "XVI в." (the XVIth century), above - the inscription along the rim: "ТУЛЬСКИЙ КРЕМЛЬ". (THE TULA KREMLIN).

The Tula Kremlin built in the XVIth century has the strictly right-angled ground plan with 10-meter high wall and 9 four-tiered towers. On the territory of the Kremlin the Assumption Cathedral (1762-1764) is located.
