Obverse
in the centre - the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower - the semicircular inscription - "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top - "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE RUBLES), at the bottom - the year of issue "2003", the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
Reverse
the view of the monuments of the Saint Trinity Seraphim-Diveyevsky Monastery, above it to the left in an oval - a picture of the Saint Seraphim the Sarovsky in his life time. The inscription at the top along the rim:"СВЯТО-ТРОИЦКИЙ СЕРАФИМО-ДИВЕЕВСКИЙ МОНАСТЫРЬ" (THE SAINT TRINITY SERAPHIM-DIVEYEVSKY MONASTERY), at the bottom - the dates "XVIII - XX вв." (XVIIIth - XXth centuries).

The architectural Ensemble of the Saint Trinity Seraphim-Diveyevsky Monastery founded on the threshold of the XVIIIth - XIXth centuries (Diveyevo Settlement, Nizhny Novgorod Region) consists of the Cathedral of the St. Life-giving Trinity (1848 -1875), the Temples in Name of the St. Virgin's Icon from Kazan, the Christ's Nanivity, the St. Virgin's Nativity and the bell tower as well. In the cathedral Temple lies the Saint Seraphim the Sarovsky's relict.
