Obverse
in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ОДНА ТЫСЯЧА РУБЛЕЙ" (ONE THOUSAND RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2010 г." (2010), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
Reverse
in the centre - a floating ship, to the left - the symbolic image of parts of the world, above - semicircular inscription: "ГОТО ПРЕДЕСТИНАЦИЯ" (GOTO PREDESTINATION).

"Goto Predestination" - the first battleship of the new Russian Navy, was laid down at the Voronezh shipyard in 1698 and launched in 1700. Its project was developed with participation of Peter the Great and became an unique masterpiece of shipbuilding and decorative art of the Peter's epoch. "Goto Predestination" was the flagship of the Russian Navy on the Asov Sea.
