Obverse

Reverse

the picture of a research ship, the inscriptions along the rim: at the top on a ribbon - "300-ЛЕТИЕ РОССИЙСКОГО ФЛОТА" (THE 300TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE RUSSIAN FLEET), at the bottom - "НАУЧНО-ИССЛЕДОВАТЕЛЬСКОЕ СУДНО" (A RESEARCH SHIP), to the left - the mint trademark, to the right - the date "1996".
