Evgeny Pisarevsky appointed as financial ombudsman

On 13 December 2024, the Bank of Russia Board of Directors decided to appoint Evgeny Pisarevsky as the Financial Consumer Ombudsman in Insurance, Microfinance, Credit Cooperation, and Credit Institutions’ Operations.

Pursuant to Federal Law No. 123-FZ, dated 4 June 2018, ‘On the Financial Consumer Ombudsman’, a financial ombudsman is appointed by the Bank of Russia Board of Directors, as advised by the Chief Financial Ombudsman, for five years. Evgeny Pisarevsky previously held the position of the financial ombudsman from 9 September 2019 to 25 June 2021.
