The 25th Anniversary of the Union State

On 9 September 2024, the Bank of Russia issues commemorative coins ‘The 25^th Anniversary of the Union State Treaty’:

— a 3-ruble silver coin and

— a 25-ruble cupronickel coin with a coloured coating.

Description of the precious metal coin:

The 3-ruble silver coin (fine metal content 31.1 g, fineness 925/1,000) has a round shape and is 39.0 mm in diameter.

The obverse and the reverse of the coin have a relief rim around the circumference.

The obverse of the coin features a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation and the inscriptions ‘РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION), ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination of the coin ‘3 РУБЛЯ’ (3 RUBLES), the year of issue ‘2024 г.’ (2024), the chemical symbol of the metal according to Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Elements, fineness, the Saint Petersburg Mint trademark, and fine metal content.

The reverse of the coin (Catalogue No. 5111-0509) features a coloured image of the symbols dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the Union State Treaty against the background of a relief composition of Belarusian and Russian ornaments.

The edge of the coin is corrugated.

The coin is minted in proof quality.

The mintage of the coin is 3.0 thousand pcs.

The obverse of the coin features a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, the semicircular inscription above it along the rim ‘РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed with paired diamonds on both sides, the Moscow Mint trademark on the right, and the three-line inscription in the centre of the coin under the coat of arms ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the coin denomination ‘25 РУБЛЕЙ’ (25 RUBLES), and the year of issue ‘2024 г.’ (2024).

The reverse of the coin (Catalogue No. 5015-0071) features a coloured image of the symbols dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the Union State Treaty against the background of a relief composition of Belarusian and Russian ornaments.

The mintage of the coin is 50.0 thousand pcs.
