On recognising credit institutions’ importance in the payment services market by the Bank of Russia

On December 27 2014, according to point 7 of Bank of Russia Ordinance No. 3439-U, dated 6 November 2014, ‘On the Procedure for Recognising Credit Institutions’ Importance in the Payment Services Market by the Bank of Russia’ (hereinafter, Ordinance No. 3439-U), the Bank of Russia made a decision to recognise credit institutions’ importance in the payment services market on the basis of reporting data for the first half of 2014 and, acting in line with point 4 of this Ordinance, to place the register of credit institutions recognised by the Bank of Russia as important ones in the payment services market (hereinafter, the Register) on the Bank of Russia official Internet site and to publish it in the Bank of Russia Bulletin.

According to point 6 of Ordinance No. 3439-U, a credit institution is recognised important in the payment services market from the date the Register is published in the Bank of Russia Bulletin.
