On recognising credit institutions as important in the payment services market by the Bank of Russia

On 20 March 2015, pursuant to Clause 3 of Bank of Russia Ordinance No. 3439-U, dated 6 November 2014, ‘On the Procedure for Recognising Credit Institutions as Important in the Payment Services Market by the Bank of Russia’ (hereinafter, Ordinance No. 3439-U), the Bank of Russia made a decision to recognise credit institutions as important in the payment services market on the basis of reporting data for the reporting calendar year of 2014 and, pursuant to Clause 4 of this Ordinance, to place the register of credit institutions recognised by the Bank of Russia as important in the payment services market (hereinafter, the Register) on the Bank of Russia official web site and to publish it in the Bank of Russia Bulletin.

According to Clause 6 of Ordinance No. 3439-U, a credit institution is recognised as important in the payment services market from the date the Register is published in the Bank of Russia Bulletin.
