On the Second All-Russian Congress ‘Financial Education of Citizens’

On 3-4 March 2015, the Bank of Russia Service for Protection of Financial Services Consumers and Minority Shareholders will hold the Second All-Russian Congress ‘Financial Education of Citizens’ (hereinafter, the Congress) in Anapa.

The objective of the Congress is to consider and approve the Bank of Russia strategic action plan for improving financial literacy, work out unified standards of financial literacy programmes for various target audiences, and agree on the mechanisms for coordinating efforts of the parties concerned regarding the improvement of financial literacy of the population.

The Congress will be attended by representatives of ministries and agencies, financial market regulators of the Eurasian Economic Union, Russian regional administrations, public organisations, voluntary service unions and educational institutions, and members of the Bank of Russia Expert Board on Financial Literacy in the Activities of Non-Bank Financial Institutions.
