On cooperation agreement between the Bank of Russia and FinPotrebSouz

On 18 February 2015, the Bank of Russia and Non-Governmental Civil Rights Organisation Russian Financial Consumers Protection Union (FinPotrebSouz) signed a cooperation agreement on protecting financial consumer rights.

Within the framework of cooperation, parties intend to exchange information, including statistical data, and proposals on the issues regarding relations between financial consumers and financial organisations.

The Bank of Russia and FinPotrebSouz agreed to cooperate in developing proposals on improving Russian legislation on protecting financial consumer rights.

The document provides for joint task meetings, workshops, round tables and other events on the issues of mutual interest in the field of financial services provision.
