On shifting start of application of chart of accounts and sector-specific accounting standards by professional securities market participants, trade organisers, central counterparties, clearing organisations, forex dealers and investment fund managers

The Bank of Russia decided to shift the start of application by professional securities market participants, trade organisers, central counterparties, clearing organisations, forex dealers and investment fund managers (hereinafter, the NFOs) of chart of accounts and sector-specific accounting standards for non-bank financial organisations (hereinafter, the Chart and the SSAS) from 1 January 2017 to 1 January 2018.

This decision is aimed at enabling the NFOs and software developers to timely and explicitly work out methodological and technical aspects of the Chart and the SSAS.

The start of application of the Chart and the SSAS on 1 January 2018 will ensure that the NFOs present to the Bank of Russia reliable accounting (financial) statements prepared in compliance with the international financial reporting standards.
