On Bank of Russia accession to XBRL International

On 10 June 2015, the Board of Directors of the association XBRL International, Inc. (hereinafter, the XII) approved an accession of the Bank of Russia to the XII as a special member (jurisdiction).

The Bank of Russia accession to the XII will ensure an access to the association’s knowledge base and allow the Bank of Russia to join the efforts of the regulator and concerned agencies, market participants and software developers for introducing a unified electronic reporting format in Russia.

The XII (https://www.xbrl.org/) is an international organisation developing and providing access to technical standards (specifications) of XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language).

The XII unites over 550 participants (members), including both single companies (direct participants), and their associations and governmental agencies (jurisdictions). All G20 and BRICS countries have established national jurisdictions on their territories.
