On cancelling licence of professional securities market participant

The Bank of Russia took a decision to cancel licence of a professional securities market participant to act as a depositary issued to Depositary INGOSDEP, closed joint-stock company (hereinafter, the Company).

The reason to take the decision was repeated violation within a year of the requirements of securities legislation of the Russian Federation, including creating obstacles by the Company to conducting examinations, and violation of the licence requirements and conditions of professional securities market participant.

The validity of this depositary licence shall be terminated from 31 December 2014. From 12 December 2014, the Company is not entitled to open deposit accounts and hold securities in nominee accounts. In the period to 31 December 2014, the Company is obliged to ensure the possibility for its customers to transfer securities to personal accounts in the register of securities owners or to deposit accounts in depositaries.
