On cancelling licence of professional securities market participant

The Bank of Russia took a decision to cancel licences of professional securities market participant to carry out broker, dealer and depositary activity, and securities management of Status Finance, limited liability company.

The validity of the depository licence shall be terminated from 31 May 2015. From 15 May 2015, Status Finance, limited liability company, is to stop opening deposit accounts and accepting securities in nominee accounts. By 31 May 2015, the Company is obliged to ensure the possibility for its customers to transfer securities to personal accounts in the register of securities owners or to deposit accounts in depositories. After the deadline outlined, Status Finance, limited liability company, is obliged to transfer customer securities to personal accounts opened by the Company in the register of securities owners as stipulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

The reason to take this decision was repeated violations over the year of requirements of Russian securities legislation.
