On suspending insurance broker licences

By its Order No. OD-519, dated 5 March 2015, the Bank of Russia suspended the insurance licence to carry out mediation activity as an insurance broker of the Closed joint-stock company Premium FB Insurance Broker (registration number in the unified state register of insurance agents 4144).

The decision is taken due to the insurance agent’s avoidance to receive Bank of Russia instructions and becomes effective the day it is published in a printed media.

The suspension of licence means a prohibition to conclude new agreements to render services as an insurance broker, and make amendments implying higher liability to the corresponding agreements.
