On suspending insurance licences

The Bank of Russia suspended the following licences:

the insurance and reinsurance licences of Insurance Company Kupecheskoe, limited liability company (registration number in the unified state register of insurance agents 2792), and appointed a provisional administration (Bank of Russia Order No. OD-513, dated 5 March 2015);

the insurance licences of the open joint-stock company INSURANCE COMPANY SOYUZ (registration number in the unified state register of insurance agents 1145) (Bank of Russia Order No. OD-515, dated 5 March 2015);

the insurance licences of ESTER Insurance Company, limited liability company (registration number in the unified state register of insurance agents 1280), (Bank of Russia Order No. OD-516, dated 5 March 2015);

the insurance licences of Infistrakh Insurance Company, limited liability company (registration number in the unified state register of insurance agents 3382) (Bank of Russia Order No. OD-517, dated 5 March 2015);

the insurance licences of INSURANCE COMPANY SOYUZ-LIFE, limited liability company (registration number in the unified state register of insurance agents 4022) (Bank of Russia Order No. OD-518, dated 5 March 2015).

These decisions are taken due to the insurance agents’ failure to duly and timely meet Bank of Russia instructions and become effective the day they are published in a printed media.

The suspension of licence prohibits the insurance agents from entering into new contracts of insurance and introducing amendments resulting in increase in obligations under the current contracts.
