On procedure for keeping state register of credit history bureaus

The Bank of Russia issued Regulation No. 452-P, dated 28 December 2014, ‘On the Procedure for the Bank of Russia to Keep the State Register of Credit History Bureaus and the Requirements to Financial Standing and Professional Reputation of Participants of a Credit History Bureau’ registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation on 26 February 2015 under Registration No. 36243.

Bank of Russia Regulation No. 452-P is based on Federal Law No. 86-FZ, dated 10 July 2002, ‘On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia)’ and Federal Law No. 218-FZ, dated 30 December 2004, ‘On Credit Histories’.

Bank of Russia Regulation No. 452-P determines the procedure for keeping the state register of credit history bureaus (hereinafter, the Register), particularly:

determines the procedure for making (amending, striking off) an entry on a credit history bureau in the Register;

establishes the list of required documents presented to the Bank of Russia for making an entry on a credit history bureau in the Register.

Bank of Russia Regulation No. 452-P also establishes requirements to financial standing and professional reputation of participants of a credit history bureau.
