The Central Bank of the Russian Federation and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus signed an Agreement on cooperation in joint supervision (surveillance) over payment systems operating on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus.
The Agreement is aimed at harmonising the approaches of the Bank of Russia and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus to payment system regulation, supervision (surveillance) and development, payment service quality improvement and countering fraudulent actions when transferring funds.
