After visiting many Russian cities, photo exhibitions Coins of Glory and Bank Premises are coming back to Moscow.

Photos of the Bank of Russia coins with images of outstanding champions and sporting events will be on display from 1 March to 30 April in Babushkinsky Park and from 1 to 25 April in Nikitsky Boulevard.

Coins dedicated to the history of sports were first issued for the 1980 Moscow Olympics. Since then, the series has been regularly updated and now includes more than 200 coins. The most famous of them were selected for the Coins of Glory exhibition. Archive photos were an interesting addition.

The exhibition of photos showing historical buildings where the Bank of Russia’s offices are located will open on 10 March in parks Borisovskiye Prudy and Sadovniki. The Bank Premises exhibition was presented to Muscovites and visitors to the capital two years ago. This spring, the Bank of Russia once again invites all history and architecture aficionados to admire photos of Russian architectural masterpieces. The exhibition will be open until 10 April.

This year, the Bank of Russia’s photo exhibitions will be held at other venues throughout the country. Information about them is available in the Exhibitions in Russian Cities section.
