Road map to promote the national card Mir signed by the Bank of Russia and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan

As part of Finopolis 2016, the Bank of Russia and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan have signed the road map to promote the national payment system Mir in Tatarstan. The signatories of the document were Olga Skorobogatova, Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia and Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of Tatarstan.

The road map will support the issue and acquiring of the Mir card in Tatarstan, and further development of social and transport applications on its basis.

Joint efforts by the National Payment Card System and the Republic of Tatarstan seeking to create new products and services using Mir cards will evolve in line with the Memorandum between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Bank of Russia.
