Inflation expectations rise in September

As shown by InFOM’s survey, in September 2026, households expected prices to increase by 14.2% on average over the next 12 months (vs +13.7% in August). These values are higher than those recorded in 2024–2025.
Companies’ price expectations were also up in September. Concurrently, the consumer sentiment index rose. The index reflects households’ current estimates and expectations regarding their personal wealth, economic development, and the consumer market situation.
