Cybersecurity in Finance Forum: business programme announced
The first day of the event will feature a plenary session ‘Combating cyberfraud: towards a common goal’ with the participation of Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina. Speakers will discuss the outcomes of the measures taken to counter money thefts as well as possible further steps.
Other pressing topics include innovations in bank antifraud systems; countering deepfakes and money mule schemes; collaboration between banks and telecom operators to ensure protection from cyberfraud; and import substitution in the financial sector. The forum will become a venue for discussions on the security of digital and payment technologies, including the digital ruble and Open APIs; the use of biometrics by microfinance organisations; and international coordination in combating cyberfraud. The programme features over 30 sessions in total.
Forum experts will include representatives of the Bank of Russia and federal authorities, senior managers and specialists of financial institutions, as well as leading information security companies.
The Cybersecurity in Finance Forum will take place in Yekaterinburg on 18–20 February 2026.
