How official exchange rates are to be set during New Year holidays

On the last business day of 2025, which is 30 December, the Bank of Russia will set the official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the ruble for the period from 31 December 2025 through 12 January 2026.
On the first business day of 2026, which is 12 January, the regulator will set the exchange rates to be effective from 13 January.
Similarly, the Bank of Russia will update the reference prices for precious metals:
- on 30 December 2025 – for the period from 31 December 2025 through 12 January 2026; and
- on 12 January 2026 – for the period beginning on 13 January 2026.
