Fee-free period for digital ruble transactions extended until end of 2026

The Bank of Russia has decided to extend the fee-free period for digital ruble transactions for one year. During this period, companies will not pay any fees for conducting these transactions.
After its expiry, the minimum fees on the payment market will come into force. The tariff schedule is available on the Bank of Russia website.
As a reminder, major banks and trade companies that are their clients should provide individuals and businesses with the option to use digital rubles from 1 September 2026. Any digital ruble transactions will always be fee-free for individuals, regardless of the fee-free period. Furthermore, any user will be allowed to open or close an account on the Digital Ruble Platform free of charge.
