News

According to InFOM’s survey, households’ estimates of inflation expected in a year edged up from 13.1% in April 2025 to 13.4% in May 2025. Respondents without savings reported higher expectations. Contrastingly, those with savings reduced their estimates of future inflation.

The consumer sentiment index went down. Companies’ price expectations continued to gradually decline but remained elevated.

More details are available in the new issue of the Bank of Russia’s commentary Inflation Expectations and Consumer Sentiment.
