The Bank of Russia has launched a new online resource where readers can find not only modern books and periodicals helpful in everyday work, but also unique antique books describing the history of the formation and development of financial science, economics and banking in Russia and worldwide.

Every website visitor can access a regularly updated catalogue, create a personal account, and use convenient services to receive and handle information.

A part of the Archive of the Bank of Russia Library is presented as online exhibitions and collections. In particular, website users can find collections of publications about numismatics and grain elevators of the State Bank of the Russian Empire, as well as books purchased for employees of the State Bank in 1912–1915.

Website visitors can access the online book museum Money, Credit and Banking to find very valuable editions about the history of Russia’s banking and monetary systems.

The Bank of Russia Library was established in 1912 and is now one of the largest in the country among those specialising in finance and banking. The Archive contains both unique publications of the 17—19th centuries and modern editions.
