The information policy of the Bank of Russia is focused on gaining the trust of society in the activities of the Bank of Russia, the creation of an efficient system of communication with financial market participants, and ensuring citizens’ proper awareness of financial services to strengthen financial culture and protect their rights.
The Bank of Russia discloses information on its activities using different communication channels: press releases, public statements of Bank of Russia representatives, including in mass media, and messages on the official website and web pages of the Bank of Russia on social networks.
For the purpose of building a trusting and constructive relationship with mass media, the Bank of Russia Press Service organises briefings, press conferences and interviews with Bank of Russia representatives and promptly responds to mass media equiries
