Information Technology Department
The Information Technology Department (ITD) elaborates the Bank of Russia’s IT policy enabling the integration of all changes and initiatives in this area. The Department also develops, improves, operates and supports all IT systems of the Bank of Russia and provides IT services to both internal users and external clients.
Within its competence, the ITD develops and implements an IT strategy which enhances the efficiency of IT solutions applied and encourages the development and support of innovations both at the Bank of Russia and in the financial market in general. This strategy is aimed at optimising the usage of all resources and ensuring information security and cyber resistance.
To improve the quality of IT support, the ITD has launched regional hubs in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Ryazan, and Tomsk.
