Bank of Russia issues new commemorative coins

On 5 September 2019, the Bank of Russia is issuing a commemorative silver coin ‘The Hunter and the Snake’ of the Legends and Folktales of Russia series. The face value of the coin is 3 rubles; its mintage is 5,000 pcs.

The Outstanding Personalities of Russia series  will be supplemented with two silver 2-ruble coins. One of them is dedicated to the centenary of the birth of the small arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov; the second one commemorates the centenary of birth of Mustai Karim, the Bashkir poet. Each coin comes in a mintage of 3 million pieces.

Another 3-ruble silver coin is dedicated to five years since the establishment of the EAEU. Its mintage is 3 thousand pcs.

Also, a coin of base metal in the denomination of 10 rubles is entering circulation. Of the Ancient Towns of Russia series, it is devoted to Klin, a town in the Moscow Region. Its mintage is 5 million pcs.
