Bogdan Shablya appointed Head of Service for Ongoing Banking Supervision

By the Order of the Bank of Russia Governor, Bogdan Shablya has been appointed Head of the Service for Ongoing Banking Supervision, effective from15 November 2018.

Mr Shablya previously held the position of Deputy Director of the Bank of Russia Legal Department and was responsible for legal support of banking regulation and banking supervision, as well as financial resolution of credit institutions.

Mr Shablya has been working at the Bank of Russia since 1996. He has considerable expertise in bank supervision gained during his employment as First Deputy Head of the Bank of Russia Main Branch for the Omsk Region and Manager of the Tula Regional Division of the Main Branch for the Central Federal District.
