1978: Graduated from the Moscow Finance Institute.

Candidate of Sciences (Economics).

Speaks English and French.

 

1978–1991: Economist, senior economist, leading consultant, chief expert, section head, deputy head of division, division head, member of the Management Board at the State Bank of the USSR, Moscow.

1991–1994: Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Moscow.

1994–1996: Executive director at the International Monetary Fund as a representative of the Russian Federation, Washington.

1996–1999: Chairman of the Management Board at Foreign Trade Bank of the Russian Federation, Moscow.

1999–2004: Senior adviser at the representative office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Moscow.  

2004–2006: Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, Moscow.

2006–2012: Partner at CJSC Deloitte & Touche CIS, Moscow.

2012–2015: Associate professor of the department of Finance, Credit and Insurance at the Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship, Moscow.
