On the amendments to the data of Granted Funds to Legal Entities

22 March 2019
Press release

For the purpose of banking statistics report forms optimization and broadening informational support to users, the Bank of Russia has changed the methodology of statistical data compilation on Interest Rates, Volumes and Outstanding Amount on Loans to Legal Entities. The data are presented in subsections “Granted funds and Borrowings” and “Interest Rates on Loans and Deposits and Structure of Loans and Deposits by Maturity” of section “Statistics” / “Banking Sector” on the official website of the Central Bank of Russia.

The Bank of Russia has launched compilation of data on Lending to Legal Entities, including Interest Rates, based on the Detail Credit Data of the reporting form 0409303 “Information on Granted Funds to Legal Entities” in compliance with the Bank of Russia Ordinance No. 4927-U, dated October 08, 2018, “On the List, Forms and Procedure for Compiling and Presenting Credit Institutions Reporting Forms to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation”, since reporting date of February, 01 2019.

Data on Lending to Legal Entities is presented in the Excel format in the subsection “Granted funds and Borrowings” of section “Statistics” / “Banking Sector”. As opposed to the previously published data, from January 2019 the discrete monthly value of granted funds has published instead of the cumulative yearly volume. Data on Lending to Legal Entities have been broken down by Classes of Codes of Russian Classification of Economic Activities from January 2019. Historical data, until 01 January, 2019, will be available on the official website of the Bank of Russia in the retrospective webpage of the subsections mentioned above.

The updated methodology of statistical data compilation is presented in the Summary Methodology located in the relevant subsections on the official website of the Central Bank of Russia.
