All areas of the regulator’s activities require a high level of professional expertise. Economic research at the Bank of Russia supports and develops such expertise in the relevant areas and contributes to the development of knowledge about the economy.
In its economic research, the Bank of Russia complies with the highest international standards. Researchers employ the most advanced methods, a wide variety of data, and the experience accumulated by the global academic community. Bank of Russia Agenda for Economic Research includes current and prospective topics of interest to the Bank of Russia and other central banks, as well as to the academic community.
The results of research are published in selected peer-reviewed journals and on the Bank of Russia website.
The Bank of Russia’s researchers take part in international conferences on a competitive basis and organise conferences and workshops on topical issues to share opinions and maintain communication with the professional community.
