Changes to procedure for accounting of fines and duties paid to federal budget

The Bank of Russia informs that its Regulation No. 618-P, dated 29 November 2017, ‘On the Procedure for the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to Administer Certain Proceeds to the Budgetary System of the Russian Federation’ becomes effective on 2 January 2018 and changes the procedure for accounting of fines and duties paid to the federal budget.

The above proceeds, to be paid to the federal budget, are credited to a Bank of Russia account with the Interregional Operational Office of the Federal Treasury (Moscow) regardless of place of payment. Bank details for such payments are available on the Bank of Russia website.

Fines payable in accordance with Part 1, Article 20.25 of the Code of Administrative Offences shall be paid to Russian constituent territories (local budgets). Bank details for such payments are available on the Bank of Russia website.
